Brianna is where Faster Pastures started. She came home from Sally and David Bartlett’s Shadow Mountain Farm in Cleveland, Tennessee, on October 20, 2018, with her calf Brenda at her side. We bought the two of them for each other as an anniversary gift.
We were so nervous about picking the right bull that we waited two years to breed her. When we finally did, it was with our friend Erika Roach’s bull.
She’s our easy mom. She grows big calves, calves on her own, and breeds back easily, and she’s had five heifers and one bull calf. She’ll let any calf in the pasture nurse, so she usually has two on her. She’s the queen of the fold.
Expecting a calf in March 2027.
